Writer, Director
Kii’s films have gained recognition in both Australian and international festivals earning awards and nominations for direction, performance, cinematography, and stunt choreography. His most recent films The Lawless (2022) and Bleed Australian (2022) were selected for MonsterFest, Sydney Underground Film Festival, Switzerland International Film Festival, GenreBlast, and SpaceBrains where he was awarded Best Director and Best Short Film among other awards. In addition to his narrative successes, Kii has a wealth of experience in commercial production, creating successful campaigns for clients such as Chemist Warehouse, Delta Goodrem, Guy Sebastian, L'Oreal, and the AFL.
Wilson Huang
Director of Photography
Wilson is a director of photography with an extensive and impressive track record of awards and recognition for his exceptional cinematography. Most notably, he was awarded the ACS Gold Award for his work on Rationale - Guiding Light.
His ability to capture natural landscapes, timeless imagery, and emotional performance aligns perfectly with the cinematic vision of The Storm Queen.

The Storm Queen’s producing team brings together Liam Fitzgibbon, Darcy Conlan and Sophie Jones, combining award-winning filmmaking with extensive production experience. Liam’s work has earned international recognition, including an Australian Directors Guild Award for Hot Department: Dark Web and an AACTA nomination for Descent. Darcy won the 2025 AACTA Wake in Fright Development Initiative for his upcoming cosmic horror feature The Harvest, recognising his distinctive approach to Australian genre storytelling. Sophie brings extensive experience across music videos and commercials, rounding out a team with the creative ambition and practical expertise to bring The Storm Queen’s expansive world to the screen.

Shamita Siva
as Kira
Shamita Siva is a Melbourne-based actor and dancer whose work spans film, television and theatre. She plays Officer Sarika Ray in Good Cop/Bad Cop, alongside Leighton Meester, Luke Cook and Clancy Brown. In The Storm Queen, she takes the lead as Kira, a roguish wanderer whose unexpected connection with a runaway princess changes the course of her life.
Madi Savage
as Onika
Madi Savage is an actor, writer, the co-creator and star of the science-fiction comedy series Descent. Produced by Aunty Donna’s Haven’t You Done Well Productions, and our producer Liam Fitzgibbon, the series showcases her flair for inventive storytelling and character-driven comedy. In The Storm Queen, she takes on the role of Princess Onika, a young woman torn between royal duty and the possibility of a life of her own choosing.

Beatrice Hince is an exciting new screen talent, discovered during an extensive casting search for The Storm Queen. A first-time actor, she landed the pivotal role of Atris, a deadly assassin with a deeply personal connection to Kira. Her casting introduces a fresh face in a role that balances formidable strength with an underlying vulnerability.
